Have you ever caught yourself staring at a stranger's feet? If you have dried or even cracked heels then you have. You catch a glimpse of everyone's heels if they're wearing sandals. Once you start looking, you notice everyone pretty much has dry feet that aren't the shiny, healthy-looking heels we once had as teenagers. Enter the Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File, which you can learn all about in this review.

All of that walking, exercising and stress to our feet really starts to show up as we get older. And once it does show up, it seems impossible to get rid of.

That has always been my predicament. As an athlete, I've always put a ton of stress on my feet with running and jumping.  And if you're a mom chasing little children all over the place, you're on your feet just about all day. No wonder our feet can look so terrible.

Personally, I spend my days on the run trying to keep up with three children. I turned to the Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File to erase the constant beating my feet take from age, impact and continual use.

The signs started to show at age 35. I wasn't worried about the wrinkles on my face. My feet were more appalling.

Not only were they showing all that stress I'd put on my feet over the years, they were cracking from being so dry. For years, my feet retreated into socks during the summer months.

They spent their time in sneakers instead of sandals. I was embarrassed and with good reason.

I've tried just about everything to get my feet back to the condition they were when I was in high school some 25 years ago. I've used expensive lotions, pumice stones, those scary-looking metal scrapers and even sandpaper from home improvement stores straight on my feet!

Nothing worked to get rid of those thick calluses that develop over time.  I wanted prettier feet.

Naturally, I was skeptical when I saw the commercial for the Amope Pedi Perfect. Those incredible before and after pictures just couldn't be real, right?

I bought it anyway because I'm tired of burying my feet in the sand when my family goes to the beach because I don't want anyone to see the condition of my heels. My feet are long overdue for a vacation in some slinky sandals.

It only took one use to notice a difference. No, it didn't magically eliminate my years of dry, cracked heels that first time. But it was progress.

The roller spins 360-degrees to buff away that skin. You gently guide the Amope Pedi Perfect around the problem areas on your feet. There was no pain or irritation for me at all. It simply worked on the hard, cracked parts of my feet that had built thick, seemingly-impenetrable calluses over the years.

I started by using the Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File for about 10 minutes on each foot every other day. It was like a mini at-home pedicure.

Immediately after, I washed my feet because you will be left with the dust that is your skin you just buffed off.

Then I followed up by applying the Amope Pedi Perfect Foot Cream Moisturizer and putting my feet in socks because the combination of ingredients includes mineral oil. Your feet aren't left greasy but it's not something you want to put on your feet and then walk around on your carpets or hardwood floors in.

After I finish this bottle of Amope moisturizer, I'll just stick to my St. Ives bottle of lotion. The Amope moisturizer is good but I prefer the creaminess of St. Ives. It is essential to moisturize your feet after using the Amope Pedi Perfect so be sure to use some type of moisturizer every time you use it.

I've been using the Amope Pedi Perfect for two months now and my feet have never looked better. This product has become a part of my regular beauty regimen. I'm still using the same roller that came with it and I'm achieving great results.

Unfortunately, the Amope Pedi Perfect doesn't come with any replacement rollers. A two-pack replacement will cost you about $15.

You also need three AA batteries. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet so the Amope Pedi Perfect is definitely not a battery hog. I have used it consistently for two months at 20 minutes every other day this whole time.

Be sure you clean it after each use. It does make a difference. You easily take the roller off and just run water over it. I wipe the body of the Amope Pedi Perfect down with a wet paper towel. It takes about a minute to do and will make your unit last much longer. Just be sure not run the entire unit under the water because it's not waterproof!

I have noticed a lot of questions from potential consumers who want to know if you can apply a lot of pressure with this product. The spin action is powerful enough that you don't need to apply pressure as if to forcibly grind the skin off. Just patiently move the unit over the problem areas of your feet every two to three seconds. There's no need to push down hard on the unit because it will do its job if you let it.

Even so, I've found myself pushing down pretty hard on certain spots and the product will keep spinning. Of course, there is a point where too much pressure will cause it to stop but you really don't need to feel like you need to be so forceful. You just need patience over pressure.

I have already recommended this product to friends and family members who have suffered for decades with dried, crack, even heels that bleed. We are all quite pleased with the Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File and it is definitely the only product that has ever worked for me. Now to shop for those slinky sandals!

The Amope Pedi Perfect and Amope Daily Foot Cream Moisturizer were purchased for review from an online store. Total cost for both was $43.49.
