Angela England is a freelance writer with experience in organic gardening. She is the author of "Backyard Farming on an Acre (More or Less)," edits the online publication Blissfully Domestic, and has contributed organic gardening content to The Spruce for two years.

England is the founder of Untrained Housewife, a site for active parents and families dedicated to recapturing the lost arts of intentional and self-sufficient living. She served four years as the Plants and Bulbs Feature Writer at She is the Editor-in-Chief at Blissfully Domestic, online women's magazine. England is also the Founder of Homestead Bloggers Network - a community for the growth and support of bloggers who write about homesteading topics.

She is the author of "Backyard Farming on an Acre (More or Less)," as well as several other books, all with the common theme of helping people embrace the journey towards self-sufficiency.

She teaches workshops and speaks at blogger conferences.


Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2003.
