Happy Fall, Y'all!
Growing up in the south, fall meant football season. There was nothing better than tailgating and going to a college football game. It didn't matter if you watched the game or were into football, you just went for the party. Fall in the south also means the leaves changing to beautiful colors and taking drives through the mountains, again having a tailgate party. Hmmmm...I wonder if everything in the south is meant to have a party? At any rate, this Happy Fall Y'all pattern reminds me of... my childhood in the south. I can just picture my southern mother saying it. You can see this pattern as well as other cute Carolinagrlz2.

Looking good in fall and being stylish is very important. I think fall is the best time of the year for fashion. You get to show off your outfit, not too much skin, not too much bulk...just right. What goes well with style? Well a cup of your favorite fall coffee or tea, of course! This stylish pattern by Cottage Needle shows off fashion and function. I absolutely love the outfit and the little whimsies around it are just too perfect. You can purchase the pattern HERE. Be prepared to spend a... lot of time at this shop, they have amazing patterns at a great price.
Fall is pretty close to perfect. There is still a hint of summer temps but eventually it will cool and sweater weather appears. Kicking leaves, enjoying spicy drinks and getting ready for Halloween are just a few things that I love about autumn. One of my favorites, of course, is grabbing a blanket, curling up and stitching. Fall is just made for cross stitching! Grab an autumn pattern and join me by the fire.
