The Bottom Line
Beefeater has been in the gas grill business for a very long time. This Australian company builds grills based on their unique take on grilling. This means that the burners are a little closer to the food than on many grills and the heat output is designed to cook hot and fast even with the lid off. In fact, this model of grill has an easily removable hood so that it can be opened up and approached from every side, making the grill the center of the backyard gathering.
While not exactly innovative in appearance or function, the Beefeater Signature grill does exactly what it is supposed to. It grills extremely well with hot, even heat that makes this company one of the best in the world and one you have probably never heard of.

Expert Review - Beefeater Signature Premium Plus 4-Burner Gas Grill Review
Beefeater started out as one of the original gas grill manufacturer's in Australia. Their first grills were designed to meet the expectations of the Australian griller. This meant an open grill that was powerful and had no need for a lid or hood. Over the years, they have evolved into a more global company and the Signature Premium 4-Burner grill looks a lot like any typical gas grill you might find anywhere.
The difference is that the focus has remained on the grilling performance and not on adding a lot of unnecessary extras.
Yes, this grill has a side burner and a very powerful one at that. The 20,000 BTU rating on this side burner is substantially more powerful than you will find on most gas grills these days and it is more than capable of doing virtually anything. There is also a rotisserie kit available for this large gas grill so it can do that as well. What makes a beefeater a great grill, however, is the power and the focus on grilling. The 18,000 BTU cast stainless steel burners pump out a lot of heat and don't require a lid to roast foods like many gas grills these days. In fact, the lid can be lifted off for complete open grilling. The flame-tamers are wrapped around into a double level that evens the heat much more efficiently and virtually eliminates the possibility of flare-ups (a common problem with the old Australian grill design).
While there are a number of customizable features on this grill and the construction is built around a modular design, it is simple and efficient. This makes this grill easy to use and very intuitive. The quality of that construction is excellent in this price range.
The burners are 304 cast stainless steel and will last a lifetime. The cooking grates are 10 mm 304 stainless steel rod and the griddle section is made from quarter inch stainless steel plate that can hold an amazing amount of heat and take all the punishment that you can give it. The griddle is a fantastic additional. The large cooking area of this grill and the four burner design means plenty of space so that this griddle, which covers a quarter of the cooking space doesn't detract in any way (it can be removed and replaced with an additional open grate). What the griddle provides is the perfect space for small food like shrimp or vegetables, or the ability to grill up some eggs for an outdoor breakfast.
While this brand doesn't stand out as a name most people will recognize, this gas grill is certainly one worth looking at.
It is built for power and perfect grilling and is generally loved by those who own one.
