44 Gluten Free Snacks to Keep You Going
Grabbing a snack on the go is not as easy when you have gluten allergies or intolerances (or you’re just choosing to eat a gluten-free diet). But we all need something to munch on, so here is a virtual snack drawer of gluten free choices that will stave off the munchies in between meals. And being gluten-free is easier than its ever been, in terms of food choices and availability. It seems that every day there are a dozen new products on the store shelves, from pizzas to granola bars, and... companies are also becoming much more savvy about labeling their products clearly, so that it’s evident which items are gluten free and what’s not.
This article contains snacks that were tasted by a group of people, some gluten free, some not, and only the products that got good reviews are included here.
Some of these products were sent by the companies, some were purchased, but whether they were paid for or not had no bearing on their inclusion in the article.Continue to 2 of 53 below.

We loved these; what a terrifically satisfying bite, and actual depth of flavor in a crunchy snack. Hippeas are made with very sustainable chickpea plants, from chickpea flour, and the flavors are terrific: Far Out Fajita, Pepper Power, Sriracha Sunshine, Vegan Cheddar, Male Haze, and Happenin’ Hickory. Gluten free, organic and vegan (even the cheese flavor!). A decent serving of protein and fiber in each (cutely designed) package.Continue to 3 of 53 below.

Our Little Rebellion Protein Crisps
Chips made with beans and packed with plant-based protein are all over the place, and this brand has a line with some interesting flavors: Wasabi Ginger with Honey, Sweet and Smoky Barbecue, and Hot Buffalo. P-Nuff Crunch Baked Peanut Puffs
These are super crunchy (don’t bring them to a movie theater!), and have a pronounced peanut-ty flavor. Gluten free and vegan.Continue to 5 of 53 below.

Rice Works Snacks
I just loved these. Great hearty crunch. The Black Japonica flavor is simple and nutty and the least assertive, so the one to go for if you have any spice averse kids. The fuller flavored Sweet Chili has a very good sweet and spicy balance, and the Wasabi Soy and Ginger is pretty delicate, but you could definitely taste soy and wasabi. Would be great with all kinds of dips, hot and room temperature. Try Cannelini Bean Dip with Lemon and Parmesan or Hot Creamy Spinach and Goat Cheese Dip.Continue to 6 of 53 below.

What is the world are pork clouds? They are modern day pork rinds, cooked in olive oil. Puffy and crispy, they are hard to stop chomping. The flavors are definitely more spice-oriented that your average kid snack, but for more sophisticated palates, and for those on a heat and crunch quest, they fill a desire. Flavors include Rosemary & Sea Salt, Garlic Thyme, Malabar Black Pepper, Szechuan Garlic, Habanero, and a surprising Cinnamon Ceylon, many of which are lip-tingling. No gluten, and... no carbs, in case that’s a wish for the adults in the family.Continue to 7 of 53 below.

Free for All Kitchen Gluten Free Crackers
While the Olive Oil and Sea Salt had the firmest, thickest, texture, and were good with good with cheese, the Roasted Garlic and Rosemary and Olive Oil and Herb definitely offered more flavor within the cracker, with a slightly thinner, more delicate texture.. There is also a chocolate version, which makes for an interesting not-too-sweet snacking cracker.Continue to 8 of 53 below.

Mary's Gone Crackers
Crunchy little disks of brown rice, quinoa, flax seeds, sesame and various seasonings give these crackers a serious crunch. Mary's Gone Crackers Sea Salt Pretzels

Snack Factory Veggie Sticks
Snack Factory is the company behind wholesome snacks like pretzel crisps and dried fruit sticks and now, their veggie sticks are great for satisfying chip cravings. Both are made with real vegetables as the... first ingredient.Continue to 11 of 53 below.

Enjoy Life ProBurst Bites
These look and taste like chocolate truffles, but they have a secret--each three bite serving contains 7g of plant-based protein! Snikiddy Baked Fries
These were thoroughly addicting with their light super crispy bite. These snacks are made from corn and potatoes, and non-GMO ingredients. Flamous Organic Falafel Chips
These chips bill themselves as “The Chip for Hummus Dip!” and promise the flavors of falafel in a chip. They spicy flavor was especially interesting, though some preferred the milder, and the fact that they are made with vegetables, legumes (beans) and a nice blend of spices was very appealing. I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Clusters
Very crunchy, and with a stick to your ribs quality that kept people satisfied for a while.

Late July Tortilla Chips
So many flavors to choose from! And made from an impressive variety of whole grains and seeds, like quinoa, chia, millet, amaranth, and brown rice. We loved the Jalapeno Lime, which was not too spicy for most, and the Nacho Chipotle, which had “not too strong of a nacho flavor” (eg, not overpowering). Some flavors are quite intense, but the classic Crispy Yellow Corn was a very delicate chip, and the Multigrain with Sea Salt by the Seashore variety was also very subtle, with 100% whole grains,... and an extra little boost of protein and fiber. These would be great with all kinds of dips, like Hot Crab and Corn Dip or Edamame Pesto Dip or Hot, Creamy Spinach and Goat Cheese Dip.Continue to 19 of 53 below.

Clif Kid ZFruit + Veggie Rope
I’m not usually a fan of sneaking vegetables into places where they wouldn’t be welcome, but in this case it was perfectly fine. The predominant flavor is the fruit flavor, and while the amounts of vegetables tucked into these fruit chewy isn’t going to make or break the nutritional bank, some parents might breathe a sigh of relief that they are finding a way to get a bit more produce into their kids. Favorite flavors were Blueberry Blast and Cheery Cherry.Continue to 22 of 53 below.

Martin’s Apple Chips
Crunch, crunch, crunch - you won’t be able to eat these crispy apple chips quietly. Made from dehydrated apples, these thin circles are a fun change of pace. There is also a simple version with a bit of cinnamon for those looking for that autumn spice flavor. For a little bit of indulgence try the Caramel Dream or Chocolate Drizzle flavors. If you’ve got young kids, you may have the... opportunity to redefine what “chips” mean! All varieties are gluten-free.Continue to 31 of 53 below.
