Online shopping is convenient, easy, and allows consumers to compare prices, find coupons, and check reviews in a way that can’t be done in brick-and-mortar stores. It is no surprise that many people prefer to buy their toys online rather than drive from one toy store to another.

Buying toys online can save gift-givers not only money but time and gas by not having to drive to a store and spend time looking for something that might not even be on the shelf.

To make things even better (and less expensive) most sellers offer free or low-cost shipping. So, if you are in the market to buy a toy for a child from the convenience of your home, check out which online shopping sites go easy on the shipping fees.

    Zulily

Zulily is a fun website to browse through. The website offers unique collections of items that include toys, games, gifts, clothes, bedding, and kitchen accessories from well-known retailers at a discounted price. Before you can browse the site, however, you will need to create a Zulily account, by sharing your email.

Some drawbacks with Zulily are that the items displayed are usually in limited supply and sell out quickly. Also, items are shipped to Zulily from the brand before being shipped to the consumer, so sometimes it can take weeks to receive a purchased item. Also, shipping is not free for the first item, but if you get an item and pay standard shipping rates, all other items bought before 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on the second calendar day after the date of initial eligible purchase may qualify for free standard shipping in the continental U.S.
