If you love the feel of silk and are looking for quality sheets that fit your budget, consider Decolure’s Satin Sheet Set. During our tests, we found these sheets were very well constructed, which is impressive given their low price point. These satin sheets are made with polyester and provide a soft and lightweight texture for a good night’s rest. Although the sheets were generally very comfortable, we did find there was quite a bit of static that caused the top sheet to cling to the skin.

In the lab, these sheets scored a perfect score in terms of breathability, and they provided adequate airflow when lying underneath them. The Decolure Satin Sheet Set also proved to be highly durable, as the stains were easy to clean and their texture remained intact after abrading them. However, we did notice some slight color fading post-wash. At just $30 for a queen-size set that includes two pillowcases, a top sheet, and a fitted sheet, these sheets are definitely a steal.

Made with 100 percent Mulberry Silk, these sheets boast a buttery-soft texture and lustrous finish. They also have a sturdy construction with a medium weight (or momme), which adds to their high-quality look and feel. When lying underneath these sheets, we noticed they felt denser than other options we’ve tested and cool to the touch. Extremely comfortable with a smooth finish, you’ll definitely feel the quality of the Mulberry silk when using these sheets.

These sheets held up very well post-wash, as there was no discoloration, fading, snags, or uneven threads visible. However, the sheets didn’t perform well during the stain test. The oil and foundation stains remained even after spot treatment, so you’ll want to make sure you treat these sheets with care. There was no damage to the fabric during the abrasion test, so we think these sheets will hold up for years to come. At $550 for a queen-sized set, they’re definitely expensive. After staining and treating the sheets, we noticed none of the stains completely came out. However, they held up nicely in our wash and after the abrasion test, with no signs of wear or damage to the fiber. So, while these sheets will likely last you quite some time, you’ll want to treat them with extra care. Note that the manufacturer recommends dry cleaning these sheets, but you can hand wash or machine wash on the gentlest cycle if needed.

Best known for their luxurious softness, shiny finish, and lightweight construction, satin sheets are highly comparable to pure silk sheets and are often a fraction of the cost. The Pure Bedding Satin Sheets had a soft and smooth texture and were relatively lightweight. When making the bed, we noticed the fitted sheet had a lot of excess fabric around the corners which caused it to look bulky, so consider your mattress thickness before purchasing. The sheets also seemed to be moisture-wicking and breathable but weren’t as cooling as some of the other options we tested.

When testing for durability, we were very impressed with how these sheets held up on all fronts. While the foundation stain we applied remained visible, the coffee and oil stains we added came off completely after spot treatment. And after abrading the surface of the sheets, the fabric didn’t thin or pill at all. Post-wash, the sheets maintained their original quality and texture. At $31 for a queen set, these sheets offer a ton of value at a relatively low price point. So, while they may not be as high-quality as pure silk, the Pure Bedding Satin Sheets offer a budget-friendly alternative for those looking for a luxurious sleeping experience.

These 300-thread count sheets are sustainably sourced, lightweight, breathable, and made with a mix of different hardwoods, including eucalyptus. When it comes to cooling and temperature control, we found the set to be a step above normal sheets, helping to keep you cooler than usual. 

When it comes to the construction of this silk-like sateen sheet set, the details make the difference. The beautiful stitching and the extra flap that provided full pillow coverage enhanced the quality of these sheets.
