As small grills for little spaces have become all the rage there has been something of a race to the bottom. The truth is that this "patio" grill isn't any different than most of the least expensive gas grills on the market, other than the fact that this one has a round shape.

That shape would make sense if it had round burners, but it doesn't. The two standard tube burners fit in this grill awkwardly, making the heat uneven, more uneven than they would in a square or rectangular grill.

Guide Review - Brinkmann 2-Burner Patio Model# 810-6230-S Gas Grill

There is a repair kit available for this grill. Due to problems with the burners going out, which can lead to a flash fire, Brinkmann is offering this repair kit free of charge.

To be completely honest this is actually a pretty silly gas grill. It has all the specifications of the Brinkmann 2-Burner 810-4221-S, except this grill comes with a round body. This means more surface that isn't directly over the burners. Basically, this is a square grill in a round body and that body is simply designed to look different in the hopes that it will grab some attention or make people think that somehow this is kind of like a Weber Kettle Grill and therefore, possessing better heating characteristics.

It doesn't.

As a simple grill for heating up burgers or hot dogs it isn't too bad of a grill, but there certainly are better quality grills on the market that don't cost a lot more (See Top 10 Gas Grills under $250). Made with the cheapest parts on the market, this little grill only weighs 33 pounds, which is a good weight for a portable grill. Considering the weight of the casters and base, there isn't a lot left over for the important parts. I would really recommend looking elsewhere for an inexpensive gas grill.
