The acerola berry is a tropical fruit that looks and tastes similar to the average cherry. The berry alone is touted for its antioxidant properties and is common in many natural healing products. The Appearance. Ignore the Greco-Roman imagery and Zen association on the bottle. The good stuff is inside. Pour the pale, pink-peach brew (watching for spillage from fizz) and savor this drink's flavor.

Aroma & Flavor. The aroma of Carpe Diem's Classic Kombucha lies somewhere between that of unflavored kombucha and Kombucha Wonder Drink Cherry Cassis. The acerola provides a sweet, tart, cherry-like scent that goes well with the natural tartness of the kombucha.

Its flavor is smooth, more sweet than tart, and spiked with a light cinnamon spice note.
