This is a simple, light halibut recipe that doesn't require a lot of work. Just make sure to soak the cedar planks for at least 30 minutes before placing onto the grill.
1. Preheat grill for medium heat.
2. Rub salt, and black pepper on halibut fillets. Put fish on cedar plank and place on the grill. Allow fish to cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches between 145 to 150 degrees F/60 to 50 degrees C.
3. Remove from heat and serve with a drizzle of olive oil, chopped fresh herbs and tomatoes on top.
