This spicy New Mexican Green Chile Cheeseburger is inspired by the green chile movement of New Mexico!  It's loaded with delicious southwestern flavors.

The beef is seasoned with a Mexican-inspired blend of fragrant spices like cumin, smoked paprika and chile powder and is topped with fiery melted pepper jack cheese, and fresh tomatoes.

Special note: If the green hatch chiles taste too spicy straight out of the jar or, feel free to throw them on the griddle next to the burger to release some...MORE of their heat or mix them with some mild salsa verde to make them more suitable for your palate.

Bacon Cheeseburger with Goat Cheese and Fig Jam

This Bacon Cheeseburger with Goat Cheese and Fig Jam is sweet and savory!

A bacon cheeseburger topped with tangy goat cheese and decadent fig, sweet onion, and rosemary jam, what could be better? It's served on an English muffin which allows the fig jam to soak up into the nooks and crannies. As for the beef, a 90-10 fat blend organic grass fed beef is the perfect ground beef choice to compliment the earthy flavors of the goat cheese and rosemary.

A tip to the burger makers out there - try...MORE not to overwork the meat. Playing with it too much will create a dense heavy patty which isn't as delicious as a lighter, melt-in-your-mouth-one.

Want to kick it up a level? Try adding crispy fried onions or spicy pickled jalapeños. You can also substitute gorgonzola cheese for the goat cheese, or try adding it to the center of the burger!  Just make sure to cook the burger to well done if you add the cheese to the center!
