These five classic cookie recipes have something for everyone. They also represent three different cookie-making methods.

There's the drop method, used for making the chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and snickerdoodle cookies; the molded method, used for the making peanut butter cookies; and the rolled method, used for making the sugar cookies.
