Experience

Claudia began writing for The Spruce in 2020, where she’s covered business news from IKEA, new product line launches, and all things home decor and design.

She isn’t new to the DIY space — before joining The Spruce, Claudia was an associate editor for a crafting e-learning site. While there, she edited and wrote numerous articles on knitting, crochet, embroidery, cake decorating, and do-it-yourself decor.

With everything she does in her career, she wants to use her skills and expertise to bring others joy, help them learn, and show them how to craft their best life.

Education

Claudia graduated from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, where she earned a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in magazine writing. While attending college, she worked as a writer and editor for a handful of local publications in Columbia, Missouri. She also held an internship at Radio Times magazine in London.
