Springtime means the return of outdoor entertaining, an influx of wedding celebrations, and graduation parties galore. If you're hosting this season and are looking to add some extra oomph to your tabletop, we can't be bigger fans of colored glassware. And, as it turns out, designers love it, too.

"Colored glassware conjures up happy images and is perfect for spring when people are re-emerging to outdoor life, entertaining, and eating al fresco," designer Lina Galvao says. "I love blue colored glass as a solid classic option, though I’ve seen tons of new intros to the market in a blushy mauve tone, which is super elegant and more subdued. Colored glassware is definitely a great way to inject personality to a tablescape or to a casual dinner on the patio, and is a great item to debut in the spring!"

Designer Sophie Williamson agrees. "Color is thankfully making such a comeback—but not everybody feels comfortable mixing and matching patterns and colors," she shares. "In that, glassware is a great starter; almost like a colorful throw pillow can be a great first step towards more color in your living room, so can glassware add that new pop of color to your table!"

Not to mention, colorful glass can be used in other rooms of the house beyond one's kitchen and dining space. "It also can serve as a great pop of color and vase for some blooms in the bathroom," designer Ariel Okin shares.

Who wouldn't want to sip champagne out of a pink coupe while lounging on the back patio? Estelle Colored Glass, a Black-owned, female founded company, is known for its elegant glassware that comes in a wide array of hues and is perfectly vintage inspired and sweet. Ok, so these glasses aren't actually made from glass—they're constructed out of a shatter-proof plastic. This makes them especially wonderful for outdoor activities, and you won't have to worry about little ones using them, either. The colorful set of six would also look nice and cheery displayed on open kitchen shelving or used as decor. As designer Caroline Brackett states, "Buy colored glassware and use it! It is also great to accessorize with or use for flower arrangements—doesn't have to be saved for the dining table!"

These two-toned tinted glasses (say that three times fast!) come in a handful of color combos, so there's something for everyone (or you could mix and match a couple of sets on your own tabletop). We're especially loving the blue and clear color combination, though, which really has us feeling the springtime spirit.

Place this glassware set on your kitchen island or even on your bedside table—wherever it will remind you to drink more water! Then, when friends stop by, relocate it to your dining area so that everyone's glass stays full throughout the evening. Don't be afraid to pair bright and colorful pieces with more subdued linens, either. "Colored glass can work in almost any tablescape but I do particularly love it layered on a neutral palette, where it really shines," designer Sarah Lederman says. "I tend to gravitate towards mixing textures in my tablescapes."
