Crockpot Stuffed Shells with Ground Beef

These stuffed shells are easy to prepare and cook in the slow cooker. The shells are filled with a mixture of browned ground beef, Mozzarella cheese, and bread crumbs, then they're slow cooked with your favorite spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese.

What You'll Need

  • 18 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce, your favorite
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

How to Make It

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, just until tender; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic in skillet; drain well. Add the Mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, and egg.
  3. Stuff shells, set aside.
  4. Pour about half of the spaghetti sauce into the slow cooker insert.
  5. Arrange stuffed shells in the sauce.
  6. Top with the remaining sauce and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours.
