Want to make a dramatic statement in the nursery without putting a dramatic dent in your budget? Made entirely from inexpensive, cardboard crafting boxes, this modern nursery masterpiece couldn’t deliver more bang for the buck: An on-trend, eye-popping, 3D focal point for less than $200? Consider our jaws dropped.

Created by the budget-friendly wedding experts at A Practical Wedding, this geometric beauty was actually intended as a backdrop for a wedding reception, but with a few minor improvements, this sturdy and adaptable design would make a stunning feature wall for a bedroom or nursery. Working with a small space or a tight budget? You can always scale down the project to fit your needs. Try installing a smaller arrangement over the crib or above a long dresser. You could even work a couple of framed photos or quotes into the design, or set a few small decorations inside some of the larger boxes. Just be creative, and make it your own!

Not much of a DIYer? No worries! According to wedding design genius, Meg Keene, the whole thing is actually pretty simple: Choose a variety of shades of a single color; paint the inside of each box and the inner base of each lid; and hang the boxes in dense clusters, creating greater separation as you move away from the center. If you need a more concrete plan, try arranging the boxes on the floor and drawing a rough map before moving the entire arrangement to the wall.
