Take any regular balloon and after it has been inflated write a message in the center of the balloon using a Sharpie paint marker or any other permanent marker with a wide soft tip. For these DIY text balloons black balloons were filled and a gold acrylic Sharpie marker was used to write the text of woot, hurrah and huzzah.

To make a glitter balloon find a long tube of glitter and place the end of a clear balloon over the glitter bottle and pour the glitter into the balloon. To get a balloon highly covered in glitter you will need about 1/4 of the non-inflated balloon filled with glitter. Instead of using a long tube glitter container it is also possible to pour glitter into a balloon using a small funnel inserted into the balloon but this way is a bit messier. Next inflate the clear balloon and shake the balloon...MORE until the glitter has clung all over the balloon.

To make a confetti balloon either use pre-made confetti or make your own by using a hole punch on pieces of paper, tissue paper or foil to create confetti pieces. Insert a small funnel into the end of one clear balloon and place the confetti into the funnel. Once the balloon has some pieces of confetti inside of it, inflate the balloon and tie the end. To distribute the confetti pieces all over the balloon simply shake the balloon. When picking confetti colors pick something slightly brighter as...MORE the balloon will make the colors look slightly less vivid.
