What would life be without dessert? Desserts permeate our language and our culture: "Sweets for the sweet" ... "No dessert until those brussels sprouts are gone" ... "You are my sweetie pie"... Easy dessert recipes are the perfect finishing touch to any meal.

Even if you are a restricted diet, you don't have to totally give up desserts. Learn to savor a small bite of chocolate cake, or a spoonful of ice cream or pudding.

And chocolate is good for you! New studies are finding that chocolate contains anti-oxidants that help prevent cancer, and flavanoids that may help reduce the risk of heart disease. So 'indulge', but in moderation.

We give chocolate for a romantic gift, birthdays are celebrated with cake, and sometimes nothing soothes a broken heart like chocolate chocolate chip ice cream. Dessert recipes don't have to be complicated to be delicious. For Valentine's Day and any other day, try one of these quick, easy, and delicious dessert recipes.
