Erika owned and operated a small luxury remodeling firm directly overseeing the design and construction of large scale additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and custom furniture building. She has been consulting on operations and marketing for residential firms from HVAC and other service companies to new home builders for the last few years.
She was selected as the Chair of the Professional Women in Building Council of the HBA of SE Michigan for 2019 and is a bold and outspoken advocate for improving outcomes for women in all areas of the construction industry.
Erika attended Eastern Michigan University.
She has hands-on training in permitting, construction, site prep, painting, carpentry, various wood finishing techniques, interior design and space planning, as well as completing comprehensive sales, management and operational training with a focus on small businesses and residential construction.
