We're all so busy this time of year. There's shopping to finish, presents to wrap, lists to make, events to attend, not to mention food shopping, feeding the family, and planning parties and gatherings. One of the best ways to save time yet still serve delicious foods is to limit the ingredient list to five or less. But these five ingredient holiday recipes aren't your run of the mill recipes; they use special and more expensive ingredients to fit the season.

All of these recipes use five ingredients or less, not counting water, oil, flour, salt, pepper, or seasonings. And all are just a bit wonderful, using gourmet ingredients, ingredients that are seasonal and trendy, and special ingredients for celebrating.

And remember, you don't have to limit yourself to these ingredients. Add others you think would be good. And when you make those changes, write them down! It's just too easy to forget exactly how you made a fabulous dish. Write it down so you can reproduce your masterpiece in the years to come.
