Four Minute Brownie Pie

This simple pie is easy to prepare and bake. It's a great fast dessert recipe for a weekend or holiday treat.

What You'll Need

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

How to Make It

  1. Place eggs, sugar, butter, flour, cocoa, vanilla, and salt in small mixing bowl.
  2. Beat 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in walnuts or pecans.
  4. Pour into greased pie pan.
  5. Bake at 325 F for 30 to 35 minutes. (Pie will settle as it cools.)
  6. Cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
