    This beaded snowflake pattern makes the perfect pair of winter earrings, a pendant or a small ornament.  The snowflake uses size 8 round seed beads and 4mm faceted round beads joined with hexagon angle weave, a variation of right angle weave.

    Each beaded snowflake made with these step by step instructions measures about 1.5 inches in diameter.  Alter the pattern or use different beads to increase the size as needed.

    Create a lacy Victorian-style holiday ornament cover with horizontal bead netting stitched in rounds.  WIth simple increases and decreases, you can adjust the size of the cover and drape.  

    Once you master this basic technique, you can make the ornaments more elaborate by adding beaded fringe or using a combination of different types of beads.

     This beaded cover pattern is for a small size glass Christmas tree ornament. An open netting stitch is used to connect six beaded loops that slip over the ornament.  This makes a lacy cover with colorful glass seed beads and crystals.

    The basic design can be modified to fit larger ornaments.
