We created this cocktail because we wanted to try pairing gin with an espresso vodka (Van Gogh or Three Olives -- we used Van Gogh's Double Espresso in our version). These vodkas tend to be thicker, but we found that the vermouth, along with gin, cuts some of that and a dash of orange bitters sets it off nicely, adding a little fruit to the taste.

If you want to garnish the Ginspresso Martini, add a few coffee beans in the glass before straining or float a burnt orange peel on top.

What You'll Need

How to Make It

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish, if desired.
