The concern over global warming filled the headlines in 2007 and it inspired bartender Michael Becker, of Portland Steak and Chophouse in Portland, Oregon, to create this cocktail.

The Global Warmer is like an amplified Whiskey Sour with mint and mango and the recommended Basil Hayden's makes the cocktail a fantastic experience. In the spirit of the drink, do what you can for the environment. Little things like buying ingredients locally, walking to the store and recycling the bottles can make a big impact in the long run.

To make a lime sour mix, simply replace the lemon juice with more lime.
