Here is a recipe for gluten free Chex-style mix that illustrates just how easy it is to substitute gluten free products in classic recipes with great results. This snack mix looks and tastes as good as the original.

What You'll Need

  • 9 cups gluten free Chex-style rice cereal
  • s gluten free pretzels
  • 1 cup pecans OR your favorite nuts
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons GF Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons gluten free seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon gluten-free garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons gluten-free onion powder

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 250°
  2. Place olive oil, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings in a large roasting pan and stir to blend.
  3. Add cereal, pretzels and nuts. Gently stir to coat all ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Place uncovered in preheated oven. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
