When it comes to superfoods, blueberries and spinach are at the top of the best-of list, which makes this blueberry-spinach smoothie a great way to enjoy some natural vegan superfoods. Notice that the blueberries and the greens combine to make a rather brownish sludge of a green smoothie, so this might not be the prettiest green smoothie recipe, but it is delicious! If you're on a green smoothie diet or cleanse, or just enjoying the energy rush of healthy raw greens, add this sweet raw... smoothie to your repertoire.

I think of all the green smoothies I've ever had in my life, this one is one of my favorites. The bright raspberry color masks the greenness, and even though I put nearly an entire bunch of kale in this smoothie, my friend's kids didn't even notice. Isn't this one of the most beautiful raw vegan food green smoothies you've ever seen?

This is one green smoothie which is exactly that - green! It's made with plenty of green herbs, including parsley and mint, sweetened with orange juice and packed full of kale. All that raw kale will provide you with plenty of anti-oxidants, chlorophyll, manganese, calcium, and B-vitamins. Whats not to love about this vibrantly green kale smoothie?

This is my usual "go-to" raw green smoothie recipe , and, as you can see, it's a lovely shade of nutritious green. If fresh mangos are in season, I use them, otherwise, I use frozen mango or a tropical mango, pineapple and papaya blend. I don't usually add sweetener, but the recipe calls for either a bit of honey or agave nectar to cancel out the spinach a bit. Up to you.Continue to 5 of 7 below.
05 of 07To be perfectly honest, I'm not a huge fan of parsley in my green smoothies or green juices. On my tabbouleh? Yes. In my smoothies? No. That being said, parsley is a powerful green, and even just a bit can really deepen the green in your green smoothie. Try this recipe with pineapple and mixed greens and a bit of either parsley or mint.
06 of 07These adorable green smoothie popsicles are made with a little bit of yogurt, so they don't technically fit the criterion of being raw and vegan, but they are packed-full of plenty of blended spinach goodness, so I figure I can get away with including them. Plus, just look at them! Aren't they gorgeous?
