These grilled chicken burgers are low in fat and delicious. Remember that the raw patties will be very soft. Make sure to turn only once during the cooking process to prevent the patties from breaking.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pound ground chicken (preferably breast)
  • 1 small carrot (grated)
  • 2 green onions (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons parsley (dried)
  • 2 teaspoons basil (dried)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

How to Make It

Preheat grill for medium heat and oil cooking grate. Combine ground chicken, green onions, carrots, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper together in a large mixing bowl. Shape mixture into 4-6 patties and place on wax paper. The mixture will be soft. Place patties on lightly oiled grill rack and allow to cook for 12-15 minutes, turning once. The patties are cooked once they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

 Remove from heat and place onto toasted buns.  Serve with your favorite condiments. These burgers are great with fresh tomato and avocado slices.
