The home is located near the popular Downcity neighborhood of Providence. With that in mind, the designers have created a restful retreat. Every room of this home is layered with elements that help promote calm and relaxation. The guest bedroom is a cozy retreat for visitors. An upholstered headboard in gray is a contrast against the crisp white walls in the room. Above the dresser, art has been incorporated to bring color into the space. Uncluttered Office Space
Beyond the bed an office space has been carved out. It's the perfect live/work environment, where the guest bedroom can also be used for work when visitors are away. A mid-century desk, reminiscent of Paul McCobb's famed style, sits in front of the home's many vast windows. The office chair is part of the dining room set. Here, the woven seating takes on a farmhouse feel. The office also offers additional storage for the residents. A streamlined, crisp white shelving unit practically melts into the wall. Colorful Master Suite
The master bedroom is the first space in the home where we see color on the walls. Walls have been painted in a cool shade of blue. The hue is so subtle, that it blends into the white walls in the room. Black and white elements add an architectural quality of the space. The black frame around the windows is repeated again and again in the bedroom's design. A black and white photograph focuses on clean lines like those framing the windows. The black headboard also ties the room's color palette together.

Tile continues to make a comeback in modern interiors. It's no surprise that tile is featured in this beautiful contemporary home.
