Do you want to learn how to make a mosaic? Mosaics are pictures made by arranging small colorful objects (also called tesserae) into fancy designs on top of a base. You set them into grout or another adhesive and then usually apply grout around them to secure them in place. The tesserae used will vary, but some commonly used items are small pieces of colored marble, glass, pottery fragments, or tile.

With them, you can make stunning furniture or create abstract pieces of art.

This craft is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by all ages with the proper supervision. It can also be taken to advanced levels. Start out small and with basic supplies and work your way up from there.
