Infini Furnishings Reversible Sectional
We purchased the Infini Furnishings Reversible Sectional Sofa so our reviewer could put it to the test in her home. Keep reading for our full product review.
If you have a big family—or if you just love to spread out—a sectional sofa might be the ideal couch for you. However, there are many factors to consider when shopping, from its setup process to its design and material quality. Of course, its size (and the size of your space) is important, too—which is why I decided to test the Infini Furnishings Reversible Sectional Sofa. As a mother of five, I wanted a sectional that was durable and comfortable for the whole family. Read on to see if this sofa fits the bill.
Setup: Easy, after a hiccup
The sofa and its included chaise arrive packed in two huge, flat boxes. The unboxing process was simple and easy, largely because Infini Furnishings packages its products with its signature “knocked down” method; this means that the sofa’s cushions, instructions, parts, and tools come packed neatly inside (and on top of) its frame. This technique is meant to reduce the risk of damage during shipping as well as cut down on packaging and shipping costs. All assembly tools are included, although I did use a box cutter to open the boxes.
From there, with the help of my dad and teenage son, I assembled the sofa in under an hour and a half. However, I believe the process could have taken under an hour with better instructions. The information is relayed primarily with diagrams that were nearly too small to be legible. Once we deciphered them, however, we completed the project quickly.
Design: Casual yet chic
This sectional comes in two colors: Dark Blue and Charcoal Grey Black. I tested the latter. The two sofa and chaise pieces are securely attached to each other so there’s no risk of them inching apart. This sofa also comes with two patterned accent pillows, which give it more personality and increase its value.
This sofa was wide enough for one of my younger kids and me to lie down side by side and read a book.
Design-wise, the back cushions are flat and 6 inches thick, while the seat bottom cushions are tufted and 5 inches thick; this added detail gives the sofa more visual appeal and texture. The sofa’s frame is made from solid and manufactured wood, and the legs—which are screwed onto the frame during assembly—are made of solid wood. The sofa and chaise pieces are also reversible, meaning they can be set up in multiple configurations (with the chaise on the left or the right).
Seating: More than enough
This sectional is designed to seat four adults, but I’ve found it can fit more people if some are children. For example, four of my children and I were able to sit on it comfortably. (It’s possible for all five of my kids to fit at once, but that’s a bit less roomy.) This sofa was also wide enough for one of my younger kids and me to lie down side by side and read a book.
Upholstery: Soft and stylish
This sectional’s upholstery is a linen blend fabric that’s soft to the touch and very comfortable to sit on. In terms of quality, I felt this sofa was super sturdy and built to last. During the testing period, it also held up exceptionally well; dirt, hair, and bits of food don’t cling, and anything that does wipes away easily. Also, my dog often sleeps on it, and he hasn’t left any scratches or pulls in the upholstery. Some online reviewers have commented that the upholstery began pilling, but I haven’t experienced this with my sofa.
Comfort: Exceptionally comfortable
Simply put, this sectional is fantastically comfortable. The cushions, which are filled with foam, are all medium-firm—not too hard but not too soft. The seats were deep and inviting as well as supportive. One thing to note, however, is that the cushions aren’t attached to the frame, but each has a hook-and-loop strap to keep it in place.

Features: Many for the price
The sectional includes a reversible chaise, flame-retardant sofa cushions, and two accent pillows (the pillows are not included on the manufacturer site but are included on Wayfair). It also has a 30-day return policy with one caveat: that it can’t be returned once it’s assembled, except in cases of a damaged or defective item. The sectional also has a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty.
Wayfair offers free in-home delivery for this sectional, and it usually ships in 24 hours. Assembly can be added for an additional price (around $120), but I wouldn’t bother unless you don’t have the time, as the setup process is very easy once you get the hang of it.
Ease of Cleaning: A snap
In my experience, this sofa is very simple to maintain. Crumbs, dirt, and other debris brushed off easily. For example, after a sesame seed bagel expelled its seeds on the cushions, it was a breeze to vacuum them all up. Wet spills were blotted dry easily, and liquids didn’t absorb quickly. I haven’t had the need for more in-depth cleaning yet, but the manufacturer recommends spot-cleaning with fabric sofa cleaner. One thing to note, however, is that the cushion covers can’t be removed from the cushions for washing.

Price: Worth it
This sectional is listed at $1,299, but it often goes on sale for a few hundred dollars less. Of course, there are less expensive sectionals available, but those bargain models don’t offer the design, seat depth, and cushion quality of the Infini Furnishings sectional. Overall, if you have it in your budget, this sofa is well worth the price.
Infini Furnishings Reversible Sectional Sofa vs. Coaster Home Furnishings Sectional Sofa
Head to head, these two sofas have similar specifications. The Coaster Home Furnishings model has a similar shape and a reversible chaise. It’s also available in similar colors. While the Infini Furnishings sectional costs a few hundred dollars more, it’s the better buy, as it features bigger dimensions (118 x 84 x 37 inches compared with 110 x 79 x 34 inches), richer colors, and higher-quality linen blend fabric (as opposed to the “linen-like” fabric on the Coaster model).
