Jack Byram is a freelance writer who is focused on all things sleep improvement and home decor. Jack has been a coffee fanatic for years and is always watching Youtube videos, reading books and blogs, as well as experimenting with new gadgets, grinders, kettles, beans, espresso machines, and pour overs in his search for the perfect cup of coffee.

Jack is a lone apartment dweller who loves refinishing furniture and who is constantly seeking out new items and pieces to bring his space fully together.

Favorite Purchase

My favorite purchase I've made is my Baratza Encore coffee grinder. I bought it in 2018 and even though I've bought newer and shinier pieces since then, every day I am still reminded of the convenience that it adds to my life (no more hand grinding!). The sleek design is a nice addition to my coffee counter, and the conical burrs offer a precise grind and versatility for all of the brewing methods that I have. Every time I walk by it, even four years later, it brings a smile to my face because it's an investment that has aged so well and has become an integral part of my morning ritual.
