For some hummus with some kick, try jalapeno hummus! If you're looking for heat, leave the seeds in, otherwise, remove them for a milder kick start to your next party or get-together.
- In a blender or food processor, process beans, garlic, jalapeno pepper, and olive oil.
- Add lemon, tahini, and salt and blend well. Hummus should be smooth and creamy. If needed, add 1 teaspoon at a time until desired consistency.
- Place in bowl and serve with veggies, pita bread, or pita chips at room temperature. Hummus may also be stored in the refrigerator, covered.
