The ten recipes below are just the beginning when it comes to Jell-O shots, so don't stop here. The method is the same for each Jell-O Shot recipe and they retain, for the most part, the same great flavors of the original drinks.

    1. Mix the liquors and any juices with cold water and chill in the refrigerator so they are a consistent temperature.
    2. Pour the gelatin into a bowl.
    3. Add the boiling water, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
    4. Stir in chilled liquor, juice, and water mix.
    5. Pour into shot glasses, molds, or a baking pan for a sheet of Jell-O to cut up once set.
    6. Refrigerate...MORE until the liquid sets. This should be at least 2 hours, but overnight refrigeration is recommended.
    7. Serve cold.

Tip: Small plastic shot cups are perfect for Jell-O Shots because the drinker can just squeeze the shot out.

    Layered Shots

You may also want to try layering these shots using two or three of the individual recipes. For example, a Cosmopolitan-Pina Colada shooter is a perfect combination.

To layer gelatins, simply mix up the bottom layer and let it set completely. Then mix the second and pour it on top of the first and allow that to set up.

How Many Jell-O Shots Do You Need?

Each of these recipes uses a single, 3-ounce box of gelatin, which is the most common size available. It will make about 16 1-ounce shots and you can multiply the recipe to make more or to fit bigger cups.
