Juicy Roasted Turkey Breast is a quick and easy recipe for a turkey breast. This recipe is ideal for serving smaller families on the holidays.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place turkey breast, skin side up, on rack in large roasting pan. In a small bowl, combine butter, salt, thyme, onion powder, garlic, powder, and pepper and mix well.
- Loosen skin from turkey and rub half of the butter mixture on the flesh; smooth skin back over turkey and hold in place with a toothpick. Rub remaining butter mixture over turkey. Pour 1 cup broth into bottom of roasting pan.
- Roast turkey for 30 minutes per pound, or about 2 hours, basting occasionally with pan juices until the turkey registers 165 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer. Cover and let stand 10 minutes, then carve to serve.
