Experience
Kaitlin Marks is currently a Content Marketer at Height, a project management tool that adapts to you, and your team, however you prefer to work. As the Content Marketer, she strategizes, writes, and implements a number of content projects, from feature launches to product newsletters and blog posts.
Before joining the team at Height, Kaitlin spent three years as the Senior Content Strategist at a done-for-you marketing agency, working on organic and launch content for entrepreneurs.
Throughout her entire career, Kaitlin has enjoyed freelance writing as a creative outlet. Her work has appeared in lots of publications she still pinches herself over, including InStyle, Bustle, PEOPLE, Martha Stewart Living, Entertainment Weekly, Better Homes & Gardens, and more. She loves writing commerce, lifestyle, and beauty content, but is always willing to try out a new niche or topic.
In 2022, Kaitlin was a finalist for the We Are Rosie “Survivor” award for building a thriving freelance writing career while facing difficult personal obstacles. Other career highlights include winning a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Crown Award as the Managing Editor of Grub Street Literary Magazine in 2020, and being able to write with her little rescue dog Peanut by her side every step of the way.
