Kaitlin Marks currently works as the Senior Content Strategist at Miranda Nahmias and Co, a done-for-you marketing agency that partners with a variety of entrepreneurs and brands. She’s a passionate freelance writer, having contributed to publications like Her Campus, The Everygirl, and The Spruce.
Previously, Kaitlin completed an editorial internship with Her Campus Media, working on seasonal and branded content packages. She then became the Beauty Section Editor, overseeing the editing process for a team of writers each week. Kaitlin was also the Managing Editor of Grub Street, Towson University’s award-winning literary magazine. She oversaw a staff of editors, copyedited each piece in the magazine, and ultimately helped secure a number of awards, including the prestigious Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Crown Award.
Kaitlin is the co-founder of Palm and Pearl Boutique, a family-owned online business with a goal of making everyone feel amazing in the clothes they wear.
Kaitlin attended Towson University and graduated summa cum laude in the top 2 percent of her year with a Bachelor’s in English and a concentration in Writing. While finishing her Bachelor’s degree, Kaitlin simultaneously took a handful of Master’s level graduate courses to supplement her education after being accepted into the Accelerated Professional Writing Master’s program Towson University offers.
During her senior year at Towson, she became the Managing Editor of Grub Street, Towson’s award-winning literary magazine, and also held two internships—an editorial internship with Her Campus Media and a copywriting internship with Miranda Nahmias and Co.
