Chris Grove has, for the last several years, authored one of the best barbecue blogs, nibblemethis.com. During this time, Chris has become an expert in all the techniques and possibilities afforded by a kamado style grill. And when I talk about possibilities, Chris has included pretty much everything imaginable in this book. While loaded with recipes, this is more a book about the techniques that one of these ceramic charcoal cookers are capable of.
From direct grilling to Dutch oven cooking to low and slow barbecue, there is something of everything here.
I could go into all the specifics, list all the methods, but I think it is sufficient to say that for the kamado owner, this is the new bible. Every trick I know is included here and several I hadn't thought of or read about. This book is not a general grilling book and will not serve the person who does not own one of these style of charcoal grills, but for those that do, I wholeheartedly recommend this cookbook.
