A Word From Kathleen Miller
"My lifelong work has been the work of learning and sharing knowledge with others. The human need to connect with nature is essential to fulfillment and balance in our lives. My goal is to work with the Spruce Gardening and Plant Care Review Board to help others discover their personal interests and abilities. One of my favorite gardening quotes comes from Shaker Mother Anne Lee: 'The Earth yields most to those who love it.'"
Kathleen completed the Colorado Master Gardening Program and became a Master Gardener in 1999, and completed the Colorado Building Farmers Program in 2012. She attended Colorado State University for horticulture, agriculture, and horticultural therapy from 2000 to 2005.

In 2003, Kathleen received The Outstanding Young Coloradoan Award for her work teaching horticulture and agriculture to children and young adults with disabilities.
