As a parent with a deep love of design, Kitty loves curating the most beautiful and creative spaces for children for her readers. When not writing about nurseries and kids' rooms, Kitty enjoys spending time with her two little girls, whom she credits with much of the inspiration for her work.

Education

Kitty graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from UCF's Nicholson School of Communication. She also holds a Master's of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.

As a design writer, Kitty closely follows the interior design industry, subscribing to trend alerts, communication with industry professionals, and attending workshops and conventions whenever possible.
