    Free Baker's Dozen Cross Stitch Alphabet

    Sometimes you want to supersize your cross stitch. You can make a statement with larger than life alphabet cross stitch patterns that are free for your use. Use this large Cross Stitch alphabet to stitch your family name, monograms, or sayings.

    Each letter in this alphabet is thirteen stitches tall. Use these letters to stitch your family name, monograms, meaningful sayings or phrases. Stitch them with the floss colors of your choice.This letters are tall and skinny and at thirteen stitches tall they can be used for large samplers or on a sweater. 


    Stitching Tips: Use two-three strands of floss for cross stitch for 11 or 14-count fabrics. For other fabric counts, adjust the number of floss strands as needed.

    This model of the Free Baker's Dozen Alphabet pattern is an example of the alphabet as stitched in a sampler format. If you choose to stitch it in this manner, the design size will be 37w by 133h. These letters are a bit thicker, but still just as big for larger samplers.

    For commonly used fabric counts (in inches):
    Add several inches to each side for the cut fabric size.

    • 14-count, 2 5/8w by 9 1/2h
    • 16-count, 2 1/4w by 8 1/4h
    • 18-count, 2w by 7 3/8h
