Laura Pitcher is a New Zealand writer with a master's degree in journalism. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, VICE, i-D, Observer, Marie Claire, Noisey, Decider, and The Last Magazine.
While studying design, Laura had an internship with Vogue in 2016. Since then, she has worked as an editorial assistant for Capital Magazine and Artzone, a production assistant for VICELAND, and as a contributing writer for VICE, i-D, and Observer. She has been consulting for The Spruce's editorial team since early 2018.
Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Communication with Honors from Massey University in 2017. She then went on to complete her master's degree in journalism at Edinburgh Napier University, graduating with distinction in 2018.
