Lauren Murphy

Lauren has been writing for environmentally-focused Earth911 since 2016, exploring her passion for the planet. She has gone on to write for notable publications like Hunker and the Huffington Post.

After dog-walking and pet-sitting full-time for two years, she decided to write about it. She has contributed to The Spruce Crafts since February 2018.

She first fell in love with crafting when she joined her local 4-H chapter. The club is usually centered on animals, especially farm animals, but Lauren's chosen path was crafts, cooking, and sewing. She got enough animal care experience at home with two exuberant Border Collies.
