    Go someone special? Or, are you entertaining at a Valentine's day, wedding or other romantic event? Here's a cute heart balloon that's populated with love birds that is perfect. It's one of the cutest balloon animal sculptures out there. 

    This one isn't difficult but it definitely takes practice. Also, it may be a bit time consuming when you're at events with lots of people - you have too many balloons to make and too little time. 

    These instructions come in two parts: one...MORE set for the heart and the other for the love birds.

    Materials:
    Two 260 Size Balloons - one for the heart and the other for the birds. Red or pink for the heart works great. You can use any colors that you wish for the birds, but black or white look great.

    Take the ends of the balloon and twist them together, which forms a circle out of the balloon. It’s generally best to leave about one-inch of balloon extending beyond the join of the two ends.

    Heart Balloon Animals - Turn the Circle into a Heart.

    Reach to the opposite end of the circle - the point furthest from the two ends of the balloon - and force the middle of the balloon into your closed hand.

    By momentarily holding the balloon in this position, you’ll leave a permanent bend that forms the heart. You will probably have to experiment a bit with this process to obtain a strong bend. Generally, the longer that you hold and pull, the greater the bend.

    Inflate the second balloon to about three inches from the end.

    Make one basic balloon twist about three inches long. This will form the tail of the first balloon animal bird.

    Make three basic balloon twists about three inches long. This forms the body of the first bird.

    Use the three basic balloon twists to make a three-balloon push through. This completes the body of the first bird.

    Make two small basic balloon twists between one-half and two-inches long. These form the heads of the love birds - the longer the basic balloon twist, the longer the heads. 

    It generally looks best if you match the size of the birds’ heads as closely as possible.

    Make three basic balloon twists about three inches long.

    Again, out of the three basic twists, make a three-balloon push through. This completes the body of the second bird. The remaining balloon forms the tail of the second balloon animal bird.

    Finish the love bird balloon animals by simply twisting their tails together at their bases. Using a marker, you can add details such as eyes.

    Combine the love birds with the heart balloon animal by twisting the tails into the base of the heart.
