In addition to the conversion tables for liquid, dry, and weight measurements, you can use the first chart — along with your calculator — to precisely convert from US Imperial to metric measurements. This will give you precise figures, while the basic liquid and dry measurement tables below that chart are fairly accurate, but they are rounded.

To convert metric to US Imperial, work from right to left and replace the "Multiply By" with "Divide By."

To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32, multiply by 5, and then divide by 9. To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9, divide by 5, and then add 32. See the table below for some common temperature equivalents used in cooking and food storage.
