You know it's nice when you get blown away by great customer service. Well, that happened recently.
Moen was contacted when looking for a replacement faucet cartridge for an old leaky single handle kitchen faucet as you see in the blog photo. (Single handle kitchen faucets can be ball, cartridge or disc types).
The faucet is an older style Moen faucet and it was necessary to find out the model number to buy a replacement cartridge.
Howebr, the model number on the old faucet could not be made out.
So, in the Moen website under "Identify My Product." There you are led through a series of questions on their website and end up with a photo library of Moen faucets. Very handy.
The older faucet was still not identified in th ephoto gallery because it was "vintage" so their Customer Support line was called up. In a few minutes a helpful customer support representative provided an email address to send her the photo of the old faucet. Within 30 seconds the exact model number along with an email back of specific instructions for repairing the faucet was provided. She was also able to provide the replacement faucet cartridge and O-ring kit needed so trying to find it in the store was unnecessary. Very nice. Especially in this age of price driven internet sales and lacking customer service. Moen stood out from the pack.
So kudos to Moen faucet for a great product and the great job they do with customer service!
