This fruity peach chutney adds great flavor to plain grilled, broiled, or sauteed pork or poultry. A dash of curry powder, dried cranberries, and bell peppers flavor this delicious chutney. 

The recipe makes about 3 cups of fresh peach chutney.

What You'll Need

  • 2 cups peaches (diced)
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar)
  • dash curry powder
  • dash salt (to taste)
  • dash pepper (to taste)

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients; refrigerate until serving time. This peach chutney is tasty with fish or chicken or pork.
  2. Makes about 3 cups.
  3. Note: If you use diced canned peaches, omit the honey or brown sugar, or sweeten to your taste.
