Pomegranate syrup is perfect for breads, desserts, pancakes and other sweets. This pomegranate syrup recipe is both simple and delicious.

What You'll Need

  • 4 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How to Make It

  1. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat. Stir until sugar has completely dissolved.
  2. Allow to cook over medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes, or until juice is the consistency of syrup.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
