8 Easy Recipes That Start With Canned Soup

Everybody has a can of condensed soup in their pantry. Canned soups have changed a lot over the past several decades so don't be a canned-food snob. The quality has improved dramatically and now you can buy low-sodium, low-fat and MSG-free versions.

Boxed stocks now taste (almost) as good as homemade, and the large cans of soup are a delicious meal all by themselves. They're also great ingredients in recipes.

Just remember that some soups are condensed and some are not. The 10-ounce cans...MORE of broth are usually condensed, so you add water before using them, while the 14-ounce cans of broth are usually used straight from the can.
