Scrambled Eggs Benedict

Recipes that cook in a short amount of time are invaluable for the busy cook. But even recipes with a 10 or 15 minute cook time can take 20 to 30 to 40 minutes to prepare. Finding recipes with a short prep time is the key to spending less time in the kitchen.

These recipes are all super quick and have a 10 minute prep time. That means you will be collecting ingredients, prepping ingredients, and getting everything together to go into the oven, grill, or fridge in about 10 minutes.

Then all you have to do is wait until the recipe cooks, or grills, or bakes, or otherwise gets itself together; then eat.

Recipes with Ten Minute Prep Time

  • Quick Shrimp Scampi

  • Scrambled Eggs Benedict
Eggs Benedict is made of eggs placed on toasted English muffins and ham, topped with a creamy sauce, and broiled. I like to use scrambled eggs because I don't like undercooked eggs, both for aesthetic and food safety reasons.

Like Shrimp Scampi, but with tiny bay scallops!
