How to Perform a Basic Search:

SeniorHousingNet.com lets you find an apartment by searching for one directly or browsing based on geographic area.

To perform a search, type the name of a city and state, or ZIP code into the search box near the center of the screen. In addition, you must select at least one of the following: 55+ Lifestyles, Assisted Living, Low-Income Affordable, Independent Living, Alzheimer's Care, and Continuing Care (CCRC). Then, click the green "Search" button.

You can also browse apartment listings by are. Just click "View More States" toward the bottom of the screen, then select a state and city that interests you.

Viewing Apartment Listings:

The search results include a summary of each relevant apartment listing, based on the parameters you selected.

Click on any summary to view the entire apartment listing.

Each listing should include information about available apartment types along with location information (including a map) and a list of features and amenities. Some listings also include items such as floor plans, photos, a virtual tour, and other helpful information, if available.

You can change the default view from a list of the search results to an interactive map with all results plotted if you wish.

Pursuing Apartment Listings:

SeniorHousingNet.com offers two ways to pursue apartments described in your search result listings.

If an apartment listing interests you, you can call the number included in the listing to inquire.

Or, you can complete a short online inquiry form specific to each listing, in the contact box at the right of the page. Include your contact information, the type of apartment you're looking for in the comments box and your intended move-in date, whether you're looking for yourself or another person, and then click the green "Send Message" button.

Available Mobile Options:

SeniorHousingNet.com currently doesn't offer any dedicated smartphone apps. Also, SeniorHousingNet.com doesn't offer a mobile site.

However, you should be able to access the site's listings and use its search engine while on the go from a smartphone or tablet computer.

How to Perform an Advanced Search:
