The Bottom Line
There are a number of inexpensive 2-burner gas grills on the market. Many companies make them and they are all lightweight, weak on power and uneven on the heating. Over the years I have argued that a person can choose between a bad gas grill or a very good charcoal grill in this price range, but I am fully aware that for many people, charcoal is not an option they are willing to go with.
Cheap gas grills are cheap and that makes them attractive for the person who wants a quick and easy grill for quick and easy grilling. The Smoke Hollow 2-Burner Barrel grill is a cheap grill. It weights around 40 pounds, has a low heat output, and won't do much more than grill up some burgers and a mediocre steak. This is the price you pay for not paying a higher price. On the other hand, this isn't that bad of a grill when compared to a lot of models in this bottom end price range.

Guide Review - Smoke Hollow 2-Burner Gas Grill Model# LS2016-2
Smoke Hollow is a brand of cooking products from Outdoor Leisure Products.
They have jumped into a lower price range of products that other manufacturers seem to have abandoned and produce everything from little portable gas grills to full-size pellet smokers. In fact, they have pretty much a product for every need. Their smokers, in particular, are competent and of good value. The Smoke Hollow line of outdoor cookers has taken up much of the space created by the recent bankruptcy of Brinkmann but with better service and better products. This really is a company worth considering for a wide range of needs.
The Smoke Hollow 2-burner Gas Grill has 15,000 BTUs of maximum output and is a very basic gas grill. The body is stamped steel that doesn't hold in the heat terribly well. With 285 square inches of total cooking space (there is no warming rack) the heat output is weak and the space between the burners means that it isn't distributed well. As a basic cooker of burgers and hot dogs, it doesn't do a bad job, but it simply doesn't have the power to do much in the way of high-temperature cooking. For a two-burner grill, it can handle indirect grilling, but foods will have to be rotated frequently for even cooking.
Ultimately, this grill has to be seen in comparison with comparable products.
In this price range (under $250USD) the gas grill I most often recommend is the Huntington 2-burner 24025HNT. While $50USD more in price, the Huntington has 25,000 BTUs from a dual control single burner unit and a slightly smaller cooking space (240 square inches on the main grates). This means that the Huntington has nearly twice the heat output for size and because it has a cast aluminum body, it can hold on to that heat a little better. While the Smoke Hollow isn't a bad grill for the price, it really is my recommendation that you consider spending the extra money and buy the Huntington. It will grill better, get hotter and last longer. It really is the better buy.
